Dinner Meetings have been cancelled for the present. The membership will be notified via newsletter once the dinner meetings are slated to resume.

The annual wood cutting/splitting work detail
will be on Saturday 10/16 at 9AM. If you want to stay warm this winter,
then spend some time helping to stock the building with firewood. We
need experienced helpers with chainsaws and wood splitters and other
helpers to stack and transport the wood into the range building. Notify
Marianne if you can bring your wood splitter or chainsaw.

Dear members. As of this date, there is no way to tell if we will be
able to meet in person and have our annual Venison Dinner in December. That said, I would
encourage you to set aside a roast for the club if you are successful
in your hunt. If it turns out that we will be able to meet in person
and break bread together, we will gather the roasts then. Also, if you
haven't heard, Venison Dinner Committee members Laurie Hellman Hood and
Steve Reilly passed away in May and June respectively. Please keep
their families in your prayers.

The DEC has made some changes in the hunting laws (that I can’t find in
the printed Syllabus). One would require anyone hunting big game with a firearm (or accompanying someone hunting big game
with a firearm) to wear a solid or patterned fluorescent orange or
fluorescent pink hat, vest, or jacket.
